A joint presentation by the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP), the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), the Royal Society of NSW (RSNSW), and ANSTO.

Summary:  Using state-of-the-art scientific techniques from the Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering, the secrets of 26 objects from the Powerhouse collection have been revealed. You will hear from Dr Joseph Bevitt about using neutrons to solve mysteries of the past and uncover new ones.

  • An optional tour of the Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering at ANSTO Lucas Heights (at 5.30 pm)
