Fellows and members of the Royal Society of  NSW may recall that our parent Royal  Society was created in 1660, by Sir Christopher Wren. David Williamson’s play Nearer the Gods, now being performed at the Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli, describes events in the days of the Society when Charles II ordered  Halley to extract from Newton his scientific discoveries.

The Royal Society of NSW has acquired a block booking of 52 tickets for the David Williamson play, Nearer the Gods. Tickets not sold by the close of business on Thursday, 14 April will be released and no longer available to the Society.  Call the Ensemble Theatre on (02) 8918 3400 for a group price and make your booking before Easter!
