RSNSW Activities with Impact Working Group
Purpose
This working group seeks to ensure that the range of events offered by the Society meets the needs of its members and fellows, evolves to ensure increasing engagement by the membership in any new offerings, and delivers impact in the public discourse. The Society has a wide range of functions and events, ranging from meetings in Sydney and the branches, the annual dinner, excursions and visits, and quarterly lunchtime presentations in Sydney. We are grateful to the Governor of New South Wales for sponsoring Ideas@theHouse and the Annual Forum of RSNSW and the Learned Academies at Government House, Sydney. A priority is to ensure that Fellows and Members are welcome at functions and perceive both warmth in their engagement and value in their membership of the Society.
