Purpose
The purpose of this working group is to plan and implement the Society’s Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation event.
The key tasks associated with the organisation of the Annual Dinner are:
- Selection of a suitable venue
- Securing sponsorship for the event
- Budgeting
- Publicity (website, email notices, social media, etc.)
- Event registration
- Selection of menu items and drinks
- Arranging for flowers and other decorations
- Engaging a photographer
- Arranging for the design and printing of brochures, table place maps
- Arranging for medal engraving and certificate printing
